When and where is the festival being held?
Saturday, October 16th, 2021 10am-4pm at Church of the Resurrection in Ellicott City, MD. The event will be held RAIN or SHINE!
What COVID precautions are being taken?
All diocesan guidelines, CDC guidelines and state/county guidelines will be observed. This means hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the event. Free gifts of lanyard and sanitizer will be offered! Extra ventilation is planned for indoor activities along with social distancing and masks as appropriate.
Where can we park?
Parking will be available in the Church parking lot on a first come-first serve basis, including reserved parking for elderly and handicapped. Additional parking is available at the Chatham Station Shopping Center as well as the Bethel Korean Presbyterian Church
What are Event Tickets?
Event Tickets will be sold and are used as currency to make food purchases and pay for other items such as the bake sale and children's games. There will be stations set up throughout the festival to make purchasing Event Tickets fast, convenient, and easy.
Tickets are $1 each.
Is cash the only accepted form of payment?
Nope! Our ticket stations can accept credit cards for purchasing event tickets. Credit cards will be accepted at the Silent Auction as well.
Second Hand Treasures is CASH only.
What food and drinks are available?
Check out the Oktoberfest Food & Snacks for a list of meals and snacks available for sale in the church hall and around the festival. For those 21 and older we will have a Beer & Wine Garden.
What activities do you have for kids & teens?
Check out Activities & Entertainment for a list of the carnival games, activities, crafts, and other fun things for your kids and teens.
Do you have shopping opportunities?
YES! We have our famous Second Hand Treasures, a Silent Auction with over 50 items, Raffle baskets, Plant Sale, and Unique Crafters and Artisans throughout the festival.
If I work at the Festival, will it count as volunteer/service hours?
RSPS parents get volunteer hours for helping before and during the event. Parents must be child protection trained (VIRTUS) (see the Volunteer section for more details).
Kids in confirmation prep can also receive service hours - they should be "Worthy of the Call" trained.
What kinds of things will be at the Silent Auction?
There will be various types of gift baskets, trips, services and other amazing items!
